Security Conference Lurker

How time flies! I was recently thinking about when I first got into cyber security and how fortunate I was for a friend introducing me to the security community and conference circuit. Trying to interact with any established community is tricky but I found the cyber security community hugely intimidating. For example, there was a time they didn’t like the term “cyber security” as it was a buzzword for IT professionals to jump on the Information Security bandwagon. Because of this I tended to keep to myself and tried to learn what I could from industry experts.

Going down memory lane made me wonder whether there were any pictures of me at these conferences and sure thing I found myself. Being tall you may immediately think it’ll be trivial to find me but I was relatively quiet back then and tended to lurk in the background.

So as a bit of a Christmas treat, I thought I’ll post all the photos (and video) I found and let people play “Where’s Wally?”. Some are more difficult than others but I hope you enjoy it.
